‘It’s extremely painful’: PR powerhouse Roxy Jacenko fractures pelvis and hip after dramatic ‘saddle slip’ accident in Glenworth Valley
Roxy Jacenko was hospitalised for two days after falling off a horse last week.
The 40-year-old PR maven has fractured her pelvis and hip during the fall, despite initially believing she had only sustained minor injuries.
‘I am okay, I have a fractured pelvis and hip after a saddle slip accident when I was riding last week,’ Roxy told Daily Mail Australia.

She added: ‘Spent two days at St Vincent’s [Hospital] however no surgery. The team were remarkable in both Emergency and CCU.’
‘My Orthopaedic Surgeon is confident that over the course of the next six weeks the areas will heal themselves with bed rest, non-weight bearing movements on the left leg hence the use of crutches for any movement.’
Roxy went on to explain she would be taking anti-inflammatory medicines and Clexane injections daily.
Roxy was spotted on Tuesday out and about on crutches, aided by her friend Jessica Ingham.

Roxy cut a casual figure in black Concrete Jungle tracksuit pants and a matching hoodie, keeping warm with a black puffer jacket.
She paired the simple ensemble with crisp white sneakers, aviator sunglasses and a Louis Vuitton cross-body bag.
Jessica looked equally laidback in Nike track pants and a black puffer jacket, shielding her eyes with aviator sunglasses.
The Ingham Chicken heiress was with Roxy during the incident, when she fell off a horse while trying to film an Instagram Story at Glenworth Valley.

The two women were pretending to be characters from the Stan series Yellowstone.
‘We are currently channeling our inner Yellowstone with a lovely day of horse riding at the ranch in Glenworth Valley,’ Roxy, 40, said in the clip.
After going through a small river on the horse, Roxy showed off her riding outfit. adding: ‘Basically, all the gear and no idea.’

Soon after she finished speaking, the Sweaty Betty PR founder screamed and fell out of her saddle and onto the muddy ground.
At the time, Roxy believed she wasn’t injured by the fall.
She wrote in the caption: ‘Don’t worry. I’m fine. Nothing some physio can’t sort.’
Roxy told Daily Mail Australia last week that she had a ‘specialist medi massage as I can’t walk properly on the side I fell onto.’
She said: ‘My saddle slipped which is why I fell – of course only me whilst doing a live Insta video. It’s extremely painful.’
