The Notorious returns to the Octagon after nearly two years away to take on unbeaten Russian in Las Vegas
Dana White has dubbed it the ‘biggest fight in UFC history’.
‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor returns to the Octagon after a 99-week hiatus to face unbeaten Russian star Khabib Nurmagomedov.
McGregor was last seen when he beat Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight title and became the first fighter to hold two titles simultaneously.
Known as the Eagle, Nurmagomedov won the vacant lightweight crown which McGregor was stripped of when he defeated Al Iaquinta back in April.
When is McGregor vs Nurmagomedov?
The showdown is all set for Saturday, October 6.
Expect the main card around 3am UK time, with the bout taking place in Las Vegas.
The fighters in the main event are expected to make their ring walk at 5.30am UK time.
McGregor goes in with a fight record of 21-3, whilst the champ Nurmagomedov is 26-0.
